Making sure you consume a protein rich shake immediately post workout is a vital aspect of your post-exercise recovery!
Type of protein refers to whether the protein is an instant-acting protein (usually a Whey Isolate/Concantrate blend) or a time-released protein such as casein, or a time-released blend of other proteins (Egg White, Soya etc.). With this information you can choose a quick-acting protein for pre and post workout, and a time released one for when you arent able to eat a good meal for several hours. Deep Blue recommends casein as the protein of choice for your pre-bedtime shake.
